Is 40:1 a good mix for my 73 JDX8? Sorry Andy, I forgot what you said when you where down here. I finally got it back together and it runs great! When I put the plastic piece on with the hose it runs rough though, any suggestions? I just took it off since it runs so good with it off.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Andy ( JDFanPa) is a great guy. He spent a lot of time here today trying to teach me things to get the sleds running. He got the JDX8 running awesome!! The carb on the 73 400 needs rebuilt, we did put new gaskets in and it helped a little but the gas keeps flo...

I hope the new ones I got are good for the sleds. I got a lot of BR9ES and BR8ES plugs. Carb Gasket kits- gas filters - gas lines - new gas- oil-

There have been some older JD sleds ( 73 400, 74 400 & 300 ) that had good compression but no spark at all. Is this a bad thing not to have spark? I know I always check the com...

Thanks. The other problem is the guy sprayed painted over the registration numbers, which at least he used the original paint color! I am not sure if I will sell this one or not. I have a chance to get an excellent shape one and I really do not need 2 of the same year.
