Yes they did, and it was chrome. We had a single 71' 335-----and pretty much demolished it!! Funny thing was, it still had the original windshield on it when I gave it away for parts! Tough old sleds.

Sorry folks, Richard and his brother have been out on their new sleds most every night, so he probably hasn't checked out site for a while. Machine hasn't been on the snow yet, I'd like to get the seat re-covered, but can't find someone locally that I'm comfortable with yet! Canuck $ ain't so great ...

28mm are getting hard to find around here. Check cross shafts in suspension, they'll be seized! Take the time and check through this site as there is alot of good info. we had a smeared woodruff key on crank , throwing it out of time.... a bit,that was fun to find!

I bought my first 77' RV in 81', still have it. 76's are fewer, single tuned exhaust ,and I think a slightly smaller area under hood. Although maybe not lightning fast,[stock] they are very quick, light, and nimble machines. I've had very few problems with mine , a couple of pistons over the years. ...

The flange in picture appears to be steel, are those aluminum rivets? What do they accomplish? What distance between tank and flange?

I believe they allow 50 traction products and you don't have to bump up to modified. Last year the Spit seemed to be able to compete for 3/4 of the way, but gave up too much top speed. So we're hopeing to capture a little more at the start, and maybe that will help be enough. Still will be testing t...

We can put up to 50 cleats for the drags and stay stock. Found some NOS JD star cleats at the swap meet. What pattern would be the best? We are on packed snow.
