installing 38mm carbs on a liquifire
I was wondering if anyone here has done this. I am going to install 38mm carbs and aaen pipes on my 80 liquifire. I was just looking to see what someone else had for jetting to give me a close start. I will be running k&n air cleaners as well with invader heads.

2.0 slides, 45 pilots , P-0 tubes, 6DH7 needles and start with 300 mains. This is a good start

I guess you could start there. Don't really think you will gain anything. Probably lose some throttle response.

From the AAen installation instructions for the Invader pipes after doing the mods to the cylinders and heads.
Best results were without the air box using a 38mm carb with no power jet. Jetting for 38mm carb is: 360 main jet, 35 pilot, 6DH3 needle, Q2 needle jet, 2.5 slide, no air jet.
Use premium 84 octane gas or octane booster with regular gas.
