Track Question

Post by WinnipegStPaul9 »

Does a Yokahama rubber track with AM54757 mean anything to you?

Old sleds are hours of entertainment.... then you get to ride them for a little bit.

Cross country shows up as AM54336, unless it's a substitute. Can't find it anywhere.

Don,

Only three Deere sleds used a Yokahama rubber track: 78 CC, and the 80-84 Liquifire and 82-84 Sports. Only the CC was 121" vs 116" for the 80-84 sleds, and all used a 3.29" drive sprocket pitch.

I hope this helps, as I dont' have my parts books to dig any deeper.

No this isn't a CC. A buddy found a 76 LF ( SN J340LE058975M) with a rubber track with AM54757 molded in. I cannot find that number in the parts book. Nothing else about this sled is out of the norm. Just looks like someone put a rubber track (and triple drive) in this sled. There is a molded date of 01-79 in the track as well. He did also say that the tunnel had been redrilled for the suspension.

Don, sounds like an 80 Liquifire track to me. Not sure what is up with the p/n, but if you haven't figured it out by next weekend, I will take a look in the first run of the 80 LF parts book.

Hello All,
New to the site and have just bought a '80 Liquifire to restore. Saw this thread and thought I would ask a question. Is there an after market track that will fit my liquifire? Is there a place I can find the specs for the liquifire tracks so that I could try to find one that is close?
Thank, :sled:

First of all, WELCOME!!!!! Secondly, I'm betting there are numerous really good used tracks in your neck of the woods and most prices are very reasonable.. The track used on the LF's are pretty durable. Best of luck and again, welcome on board.
