84 Trailfire

Post by johnnycyclone »

Looks like an 84 Trailfire. Not mine, just browsing Craigslist and came across it.

You guys are going to have to get the serial number for this one. Suspect items include chrome handle bars, what looks like a non-locking glove box door and a '78-'79 snow flap. The decals look right but the silver frost looks off (could be the lighting). Too far away for me.

Chrome handlebars and a what appears to be a 1979 model snowflap. Decals are 84 minus the Trailfire script on the hood sides. Difficult to tell from the pictures but the Winterfrost paint just doesn't look correct. If I lived closer I'd stop in for a closer look.

I agree it looks like a 79 with 84 decals. The build date will tell the rest of the story....Terre

Looks to be the same sled I had our friends in turtle town investigate for me a few years ago. If memory serves it was a 79 in 84 drag as you have astutely pointed out. You guys are good.8-)

Nope. That one was a true 84 with 241 actual miles if I remember right. I can go check. We paid a little to much for it though. I think I dropped $175 for it. But it was a 9 out of 10. Sometimes you gotta pay for nice things. :bonk:

Skol Vikings.

Of course I am just kidding.

I paid $275.
