Is this head toast

Post by liquifire1 »

It is off a 440 invader that obviously blew up

Want to put invader heads on my liquifire and this is one of the heads

Just wondering if it is junk or still usable?

If it were me I would be looking for another.

That said it would work but it would be always naughing away in the back of your mind.

I would use some emery cloth and get it as smooth as you can if you are going to use it.

How much will the sled get ridden? and how hard?

I would throw that in a river and let some fish make a house out of it

The pics may be deceiving but that is one if he worst heads I have seen in a while. I have used some that had a few nicks but that one looks shredded. Maybe with time and emery cloth you can smooth it out, but I would look for another

Have you been to Byers Equipment yet? They were a huge Deere dealer and had a lot of left over stuff.

Yes I have been there a few times, there inventory is depleted now.......but I have used them as a resource and the owner (Ron Byers) is very knowledgeable, he has a few old sleds as well!!
