1984 liquifire

Post by baxter3 »

I have a 1983 liquifire that I was thinking of selling. It has been sitting a few years and having troubles getting it to run perfect. I cleaned the carbs twice now and found dirt in different areas each time, not very experienced with carbs. It however ran better each time, but just not right yet. It has a rip in the seat and the windshield is cracked, but still functional. I replaced all gas lines, fuel pump, and the throttle cable so far. I was wondering if $500 was too much for a sled like this? I have been watching on Craigslist and saw similar sleds ranging from $400 up to $700.

I sent you a PM also.
Still sitting in my outbox sice 8 this morning.
Matt is out riding. ;-) or something. Not sure why it is still there?

Liquidsplit: not stepping on toes.
Just thought it (PM) would have been delivered by now.
You know where I'm located...
You are first in line in my book. I was just wondering where in WI this was??? to take a peek at least.
If it is on the other side (from you) of me, I can help if needed with delivery.

I looked at the registration card and it is actually a 1984 Liquifire. I am located about 20 miles west of Shawano Wisconsin. I am going to try to upload some photos. A little more info on the sled. It does have handwarmers, extra set of slides, 5192 miles, it has been stored in a garage and not run for years. The previous owner says it ran good before he put it away.

Baxter3 The best way to find out what you have is go by the serial/vin number on the right hand rear side of the tunnel. I am sure whoever gets it will take good care of it and make it look new again. We all like to see some pictures of it if and when you get a chance to post some. :usa:

I try to upload the picture, but it says it is too large of file. Does anyone know the best way for me to get around this issue?
