2000 340 indy deluxe vs 1997 indy lite 340?

Post by Den »

2000 340 indy deluxe vs 1997 polaris indy lite 340 - Consider both look nice, same miles, etc.
Which one would you pick?
Something a little smoother for my daughter vs. the Deere.
Any issues or lack of parts one vs. the other or are they pretty much the same thing?
I'm not real crazy about the dual carbs, but these are available now.
Any other suggestions to look at? Just something 340ish that is easy to steer & can handle the bumps.
Thanks!

I had a Indy lite years ago and I HATED! It ran awesome and rode really nice. The problem was it felt tippy . We would go for a ride and I felt like it was going too tip over on the slightest side hill. My dad could never figure out why I couldn't keep like I used too on my 1971 lynx so he took it out for a spin and with in a week I had a new sled.

Thats just in my experience. Good luck
owning a john deere sed is alot like drugs.... ride one once and you are hooked for life]
