Wife says git rid of some sleds.

Post by I500 »

Wife tells me get rid of some sleds and buy a muscle car. How much does a Guy need for a Max Wedge, Road Runner or Cuda?..........I do have way to many sleds.

Chuck Not sure what kind of budget you have for a muscle car but right NOW is the time to buy. The market is "soft" and cars are going dirt cheap compared to 5 years ago.. I would say you could pick up a nice street (rider) machine for less than 20K. Now if she wants a professional "frame off resto rod" you would prolly need to add another "0" onto that.... Mopar muscle is not cheap... Another option is maybe check out the new mopar muscle, the HEMI charger is Quite impressive on the test ride! :shock: :shock: :D

I guess it all depends on the rarity and condition of the car. A Cuda or Road Runner with a small block can still be had in the mid to high teens for a driver. Big blocks bring a little more, especially if it is a 4 speed car. The wedge cars bring serious coin still. I know the 72 and later Mopars can be had for not a lot of cash.

Chuck, mention to her that I think you should keep the sleds, unless I got the same deal with her on the car as on the sleds??
A good matching numbers MoPar could be in the $50,000 + range, Max Wedge, Item number: 111048121470 & over 100,000.00 + for a real deal Hemi car, Item number: 390575975159...
Personally I'd go for a 68-70 Hemi Dart !

A good fund raiser start would be to ebay the Enduro Team Deere documented Liquidator. Not sure what that would bring,but since its the only one known to exist
besides Brian Nelsons at the Hall of Fame or Jon Carlsons Balsam Lake/ North Dakota Governors Cup Cross Country. Both cool sleds for the true collector. Yep both for
sale but think big. Rest of my sleds are all common Dators, 340,s and 295,s stuff. All could be on the table except my 77 Liquifire,

Just go and buy a new one! No problems, power everything, good brakes, comfortable heated seats, 1/4 mile in 12.4 seconds, 20 mtg, warrenty, and only 23 built in this color configuration! That's how I roll! :beers;
