Direct Drive Secondary Clutch Diameter

Post by ski »

Can anyone tell me what secondary clutch they ran in the Direct Drive Deere sleds and the diameter of the sheaves?
Always wondered if they were larger than what a later model Liquifire had........

Hello Ski,

I don't have any DD sleds moved down to TX from NY yet, but they are significantly larger in diameter than the secondary used on the Liquifire. I think the LF is something like 10.5" and the DD driven is around 12" in diamter. I have LF's here I can measure if needed.
