Yesterday I sacrificed a NOS Premium Fuel only filler cap AM53576 for the 340/S & the Dator rear tank so my mfg. here in HCMC can rieverse engineer some new ones for us. he wanted a minumin order of 500 but I talked him down to 200, 100 of them will read just like the OEM one & The remaining 100 will just Read " Premium Fuel Only " "mixed fuel " & then " Premium Fuel Only " again.
I'll keep you all informed on what progresses while I'm here

Well some good news & some bad news, good news is the repop can be done, with a minimum of 200 caps as first presented.
Bad news is it will take 4 molds to build the caps, & right now, I think he's way to expensive for the molds, at least for this country??
At the time of the quotes he was told that the price was too high, so right now I'm letting him sit for a few days then will contact him again & see what we can nagotiate....
Also I have yet to receive a qoute for a piece price per cap

Keep after him Kenny, I will take 10 of the originals. I wonder if they could do the regular caps for cyclone liquifire as well, same cap, just diff print.Could maybe make this deal more appealing to othes as well, maybe help get the order #s up, Or maybe that can be the next project. Kenny, I'd take two of the original non-vented caps. Sorry for the low order number as I know that drives you crazy sometimes, but it's honestly all I can afford since I'm in Auto School and all my spare money seems to be going straight to the Snap On man for tools for school.
