Once again I would like to thank the following companies that helped make this happen:
AFE Graphcs/www.JDsleddecals.com (donated the decal set)
B&B Snowmobile Transport (transported the sled to Brock)
Crankshaft Services (rebuilt the crank)
John's Upholstery (recovered the seat)

As well as all the members from JDsleds.com who donated money or parts, and of course, Brock Weber for making it come together!

Craig Marchbank and myself will have the sled at A-1 on November 1 and 2. Look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones there. You have to see this beautiful creation to appreciate it. It is a work of art (actually a work of Brock et al).

From out west I would like to say to you guys involved in restoring this 1978 Liquifire, Job well done. I am always amazed in anyone's talent in being able to restore what has been a pile of "has been" to "better than new". You men here are truly amazing, and what precision and pride you have put into this sled is just WOW!!! I always enjoy looking at this site and seeing all of you jdsled members restored sleds. Those of you on this site that have this talent, well my hats off to you. I worked at a John Deere dealer back in 1982-1984 and I helped set up the "Fire series" sleds. I loved the things then and bought a 1983 Liqifire while I worked at the dealership. I should have kept it.

I do have a 2005 John Deere X475/54" Lawn & Garden tractor that I bought with 31 hours 4 years ago. I used it one season, and am now keeping it in deep storage to show people say many years from now a low hour L&G tractor. It now has 51 hours and will forever be a low-mint condition tractor.

Many of you have seen my never touched original 81 Sportfire that has 335 original miles, and you have commented back to me in the positive and I say thanks again for your kind words

Merry Christmas my North America friend's!! :usa: :canada:
