JD Buck EXT

Post by JDGuy »

2005 Buck EXT, found it on tractorhouse.com, bought it a couple of months ago SE of Dayton, OH. Made by BRP/CanAM/Ski-Do. JD marketed them in 2005 & '06. This model has an electric push-button shift 5 speed transmission with a $950 controller. Hope that thing lasts. Would have rather had the CVT model (sled type pulley/belt transmission drive) but those for sale at the time were pretty tired old dogs. Seems it has become the wife's machine for gardening, visiting neighbors, getting mail, etc. I get to do the maintenance. Runs good for a work horse model, tops out at about 50 MPH by its speedometer. Wife has her name on it!! I sneak a ride now and then, LOL. :naughty:
