Post by ski »

Anyone ever put a 108 on a 76-78 Cyclone? Is so what is the Comet part number. I wondered about the offset...??

I am not sure it will work, the offset on the 108 is different than the 102. I believe the 108's came out for the higher horse-power engines.

Are you saying this mean green machine is underpowered! I think not! LOL!!

Seriously though, I found a used 108 with the correct taper bore. I hope to install and try it out if I can figure out my belt length. I wonder if the weight difference of the clutch will affect tuning? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just wondering how this worked? Have a spare 108 floating around and thought of trying it on my 78 Liquifire in the future.
