Had a good friend call looking to get a newer model 2 up snowmobile for ice fishing and the occasional trail riding. He particularly wants to find a sled to hand the slush that can be hidden underneath snow on ice. He is thinking 2005 and newer.
I am not that familar with newer sleds, shocker that I am on this site right? Anways any suggestions on brand and model would be much appreciated. So again in summary, mainly ice fishing use and able to handle some slush on lakes (aka good suspension and hp).

I am a skidoo guy so anything with the 500ss motor which is the 600 cc carb is a good reliable motor. I also like the polaris classic sleds with the 500 or 600 twins which are good motors as well.

My wife had an 07 ski doo gsx 500 with the +1 seat on it. Nice dependable, easy sled. It has over 8k miles on it and still runs great. And affordable.
