I'll be headed down to Waconia again this year. Wondering if any of you in the states know of a good place to find recap semi tires? Most likely will be taking I-29 to Fargo, and continuing on I-94 to near Minneapolis again. I'm looking for 4 11r 22.5 recap tires (grips), and possible 2 new steer tires. I'm wondering what the cost difference is between Canada and the USA.

Also looking for a used (in good shape) steel fuel tank for my '01 International 4900 series truck. It would be the drivers side tank, but I would consider one with the step as well. They are the square 50 gallon type.

There is a huge truck salvage yard in Dawson MN Right on US hwy 212 which runs E-W from I-29 to the Twin CItes.

Dawson Truck Parts is the name. www.dawsontrk.com

Then just a few miles east of Dawson is Royal Tire in Montivideo MN. www.royaltire.com

Hope they have the stuff you need.

We will be swinging through Batxer Mn also. Not sure if it will be on the trip down or the return. Just another option if someone knows a place.
