Annual RWTC Fish Fry
I'm pleased to announce that we will continue our traditional Friday Night Fish Fry on Friday, February 14,2014 at the Whitetail Inn in St.Germain, WI. It will start at 6pm. I've been told that there already are two ETD drivers that are going to attend and hopefully we'll have drivers from the other brands as well. I know we call it a "fish fry" but everyone will order off of a menu though I do have to recommend the fish fry part.
For those of you who have not previously attended, this night started out pretty simply as a small group of John Deere enthusiasts getting to have dinner with ETD legends Jon Carlson and Brian Nelson. After a couple of years we outgrew the 19th Hole (actually I don't think they wanted us anymore) and moved to the Whitetail Inn where we have been treated wonderfully. In talking with the owners Jeff and Joy, they did mention that the menu might be pared down a little this year as it's Valentines Day and they will be crowded even without us but they'll make sure we have room. They would be more comfortable knowing a "number" as I just guessed 50. I had hoped not to have everyone tell us if they are coming but that is going to be necessary. I won't need names, just numbers.
If anyone out there knows of other legends (from all makes) please invite them as well so that everyone can share in the fun.
Hope to see you all there!!

Re: Annual RWTC Fish Fry
Oh I forgot to mention that two of my dearest friends who crashed the 2 Annual Event even though they are "Polaris Types" will be there again. Welcome always to Roger Jordan and Dan Cunningham. It's because of their enthusiasm that we expanded the fish fry to ask all vintage sledders to attend. For you Arctic Cat fans hopefully we can get Jim Dimmerman to attend again, he's always a hit with the crowd.

Roger does have a Trailfire now, so don't hold that Polaris thing against him.

Re: Annual RWTC Fish Fry
Not only do I own one, apparently it's the only sled I get to ride this year (so far). lol
All kidding aside, the Deere has by FAR got the most attention at pit-stops this year by a HUGE margin. Might have to switch to a low windshield, Sportfire seat and keep it!
Count me in for dinner. Dan's status is still in question so I may be rooming with the North Dakota wing of ETJ.
Later,
Roger

Re: Annual RWTC Fish Fry
Hello DA,
Count John (Badger) and I in for the "fish fry". Terry Carson is still a maybe, as he had got permission from the Mrs. but his Dr. was still thinking about him doing another St. Germain trip.
I remember very well that evening that Roger and Dan joined our/your Deere fish fry Don. They fit in from the first "hello"! Course great people have an ability to "fit in". The year before they let this lone Deere rider, among 3 of these Polaris types, tag along up to Lake Gogebic. This is just one example of kindness I have seen each year on the RWTC weekend. Trust me, newcomers will be welcome!!
