Twenty two year old Good Friend and Co Worker of my Wife decided to stop off at some Buddies house on Friday night for a few drinks. Stayed a little later than expected and finally left at 2 am on his snowmobile and headed back to his cabin. He never showed up. Sent a search party out to trace his route back and found him at 12 pm. Dead, frozen and wrapped around a tree.
Now I'm spending tomorrow night at a Wake...................Please everybody, be careful.
Jared Wallenfelsz, 22, killed after crashing his snowmobile on Long Lake.
A 22-year-old Maple Grove man died Saturday in a snowmobile crash in north-central Minnesota, authorities said.
According to a statement from the Todd County Sheriff’s Office released Sunday:
Authorities received a report of a missing man at 11:23 a.m. Saturday.
Friends of Jared Wallenfelsz said they had last seen him driving a snowmobile away from his family’s cabin on Long Lake about 1:30 a.m. that morning.
Deputies went to the scene and searched the area using snowmobiles. At 12:43 p.m., deputies found Wallenfelsz and his crashed snowmobile on a wooded lot on the northwest side of the lake.
Authorities said he died in the crash. Poor visibility because of weather, alcohol use and speed are likely factors, according to authorities.
The lake is about two hours northwest of Minneapolis.

Guy's this is one of the saddest threads I have read on here, Kam glad your ok aside from the surgery. Sucks to here that kid lost his life.
