The Scrapyard 340 Trailfire project

My current project is getting this going. I picked it up at a scrapyard for 90 bucks wasn't seized up so I knew I could get it running plus the track is in great shape. When I started working on it the air box was a mouse house cleaned that up cleaned the carb the gas tank was filthy with that pudding so i ran the line to a gas container it ran but not good as soon as i take the choke off it wants to go, I'm figuring it is an air leak, So im pulling the motor to replace the crank seals. Since I don't know the history on the sled I can tell it has been worked on the muffler is not correct. The jack shaft broke somehow but whoever repaired did a great job. Someone hit something the right ski is bent and so is the belly pan nothing really bad. My goal is to clean it up nothing to nice but a good running sled. As I go I will post updates

Bringing them back to life can get spendy....I would know lol. But always seems worth it!

Tried pulling the engine none of my clutch pullers fit so I have to make one
Bought a new ski to replace the bent one
bought the new seals
And bought a speedo kit for my other trailfire

Be careful with that home-mader, it can bend and get stuck in the crank. You are better off taking the sled to your local dealer and have them do it.

Few updates not pictures havent made much progress been super cold. I got all my things got my ski didnt get to replacing crank seals yet.

Installed a speedo on my other trailfire
