yes there should be a washer there. It sits in the hole flush. BOB

Did you adjust the float level before essembling the bowl. The float arm in the picture needs adjusting so the arms are parallel with the bowl gasket suface. The way it is, the float level is set to low.

Thats an old picture. The lever is actually upside down in the picture. Thats all set up now.

Well today I replaced the main jet washer, i lost mine and just used a steel one, after putting in a brass one i havent had the problem yet and I went for a long time.

Mabey i should say this different.
There was a steel washer in because I lost the first brass one
Now I replaced the steel one with a brass one and it seems to have fixed it.
