what your sleds nickname?
I call my early serial number jd300 "champ" It has broke down on me many a time in many of different ways but has always been able to get me back home or told me that 10 feet from the shop is all we are going to do till you fix an issues.
I bought this sled from a local man north of Winnipeg and as advertised it ran good and needed a little tlc, I checked compression (which was 140 and 135) a few other thing prior to buying it and was very please. After getting home and having a real look at her, I fixed a few tlc issues mostly new lights, but all in all she was solid. she is the sled that after a hard day of work i take out and run the local ditches and fields i run her hard and she pays me back with tons of fun letting go of the day stresses.
I have always been amazed that she has never left me out in the cold. From having the drive cogs split in half fall out and only have 3/4 of the other one and still make it home about a mile, to having a piston go down and give me just enough power to make it back, to having the fan bearings fail and brake the fan housing, to having every nut that hold the exhaust come loose and nearly have the exhaust fall off, to the latest failure of the secondary clutch bearings and we made it back home and drove right into her parking spot.
After all this she really is my "CHAMP" i have replace many a parts on her and hope to continue to do so just thought i would share a bit and thank you all for your help/guidance and place the question

Not gonna lie, my Dator has had many NSFF (not safe for the forum) names. I didn't believe in the race sled curse until that thing came home with me lol We've fought a quite a bit over the last three years, but I'm finally winning the war.

Well it depends on if you asking about when they won't start, or when they brake down, or when they Might be running good..

I am gonna say "POS" you can fill in your own words for this Acronym.. Any brand and any sled. Their all man made and are sure to break... This also could fall into the category of "talking dirty to it"

Names vary in direct proportion to the number of pulls to get it started

My '73 jdx4 is named Livestock 109. For the late, great comedian Metro. This sled was my first and will live forever lol

Most of the boys I ride with have big engine snowmobiles, or newer Arctic Cats, so they deemed the name for my 81Trailfire "THE PISSED OFF WEEDEATER" by the sound of it zipping across the field wide open.
