Bob, not sure which jacket you're talking about but John Deere gave all drivers and crew members in the 75 I-500, yellow jackets which has the logo on the front and our sponsor's name on the back. Unfortunately, on our coats, the manufacturer spelled it John Deer. Anyway let me know if this is what you're looking for. Don

Not the same coat. The one in the picture is MUCH better looking. Well ok, the model is MUCH better looking but so is the coat. The one we received, and we're thankfull for, is not as nice and wasn't designed for real cold weather. More of a light winter coat. Happy Holidays. Don

I think they were available as I remember my dad wore one for a few years during that time. I think somewhere I have a picture of him wearing it standing in front of the dealership for a local newspaper writeup about an upcoming John Deere Day Open House.

Shouldn't be a big deal to leaf through the sled clothing brochures to see what year it was first sold.

Knowing my dad, my brother and myself, I would imagine he still has it!
