Spitfire assembly questions.

Post by fastl82vette »

Well, since this is my first sled I've tore down I am gonna have a few dumb questions. :bonk: of coarse they are easier to tear apart than they are to put back together.
First thing I am wondering is how do you make sure the drive shaft is centered and keep it in place when you tighten the secondary down? Does the track tension hold it in place?

The Vintage Snow site has a lot of good service manuals for download.

I have the service manual. I will have to look at it again.

I believe that I may have put one of the the bearings in backwards. :bonk:
I will turn it around and see if that fixes my problem.
