Studs for a 83 Liquifire

I'm thinking of buying an aftermarket track and studding it for my 83 Liquifire, any comments?, problems? I'm looking at using approx 70 studs and going with a .750" Woodys Traction Master. Will that hit my heat exchanger, I know I will have to come up with some type of tunnel protecter, any ideas will be much welcomed.
