Liquifire secondary spring

Post by SIIaCanuck »

Does anyone know of a source for new (NOS) M66378 secondary springs?

Is there a modern equivalent anywhere?

Somewhere on here there is a Polaris part number that's supposed to be an equivalent. I've not tried it so I can't comment on how it works. I'll see if I can find the number later tonight.

Matt, the secondary spring color is blue.

Thanks fellas, all three secondary springs I have are blue but they're all in varying states of de-sprung. When looking at the fine tune manual, none of them needs the pre-load that it describes so I'd like at least one new one.

'River Rat' from this forum suggested the Polaris 7041296 (wire diameter 0.190 - 0.192) but I haven't heard of anyone using one and how well it works.

So NOS or give the Polaris spring a try.

Thanks, at least I know what to expect.
