Went on a sled hunt and found another Liquidator. Mostly complete, unfortunately wrong motor. It has a 440 Liquifire motor in it. Gotta love the graphics and shag carpet though.

As for plans for it, I think I'm going to send it to auction. I'll post when I make my decision.

Hey Mike,

I assume that is the treasure you called me about? You totally left out that groovey custom graphics package, LOL! Even with a Liquifire motor, that sled has a lot of the other hard to find parts. Nice save.

Actually, it looks like some pretty cool custom painting. (ok, maybe not cool in this case!)

You lay down some lace, and paint over the lace, remove the lace, custom!

Common practice in the 70's.

I know some custom guys that go to yard sales looking for old table clothes for the material.

or maybe it's a decal of some sort, but they look like they are laid on very nice. More like painted on.

Yup. It is painted on! On the VS site, I have a thread going about how a hood tells a story. I'm a little nervous about the story this one tells. Lol

Sled is running, sounds great with the pipes and appears to be solid. Great sled to just cruise around on. Hood? Well that's another topic.
