JDST-24 looking for info on this tool/stand

I was going through some books and found this tool JDST-24. Its a sled stand that is placed in front and behind the Sled. Then the sled can be lifted and rotated so under chassis work can be more easily done. Does anyone have one of these lifts? I want to make one to use, but need more infomation, pics would really help, I can't seem to find any more information online about this lift.

any help would be great even the smallest bit of info can be really helpful.

Someone on here had a rig that sounds just like it that came out of an old boat repair shop. They would use them to flip the boat over and repair the underside.

We have two of them that we used when we worked on sleds. I'm almost positive that both came
from OTC on a Deere special tool order. I've never looked to see what color they were originally
as one is black now and I think the other set is grey or green.
When we were busy both were in use. I can remember JDX8's being up on them as well as Liquifires.

I couldn't find them after we had closed and was grumpier than H h#ll thinking someone had gotten
away with them. Then I found them and right now I couldn't say for sure where they're at. As big as
they are the darn things like to hide I guess. Same with the sled mover, I know where that is since we
used it to load the Liquidators when I sold them.

I think I've got the order sheets on them too somewhere. There should be a lot of them around as any Deere
dealer that worked on sleds had at least one I think.

If it's the one I remember, didn't the sleds need a hitch? I seem to remember a flattened tube that the hitch slid into in the rear. I don't recall how the front worked.

If you happen to find one Post a pic or two, The front is what is puzzling me on how they would have mounted.

I build an addition to the shop and I am close to getting to use it. I have 3 sleds that I have to do track work to and thought this would be nice to have as my old lifts I made make it near impossible to get wrenching on the tracks while on the lift. Working on the ground is no fun either.

I can figure out how to make one for the back and mount the lift to the hitch, but the front I am at a loss. I am going to assume the front bumper is strong enough to lift and rotate the 75 sled but I am worried that the 72 bumper is not strong enough as it much lighter duty. And then I will have to figure out the whole center of gravity so when I rotate them it does not fall over.

Still looking for any documents and photos on this stand for sleds that could be purchased from JD back in the day, All other leads have run dead. Mother Deere was no help other than saying yes they used to sell them.

Photos would be almost priceless but I have no money to give LOL

I found this while going through some old files. STB 172M 1973. This is the lift that I am wanting to build or buy. But need to find a set so I can reverse engineer. It looks like to me that the front mounts to the ski spindles or the springs but I can't really see it clear enough. Still need some help
