Dennis from vintage sled paint is in the process of reproducing these right now. There is a thread from about two days ago about it. :beers;

Hey Eric and all owners of midmounts.

Tonight I installed the prototype upper bushings that Dennis took the picture of on the other topic.
I put a pair on a 300 and on a 600, both owned by Dennis.

All I can say is these are the cat's meow. We have needed these for several years as the DKTrader hoard disappeared fast.

They look great and fit like OJ's glove. Nice and tight.

So for all you guys that dislike the older Deere's because your arms get sore fighting for control when your trying to keep up with the newer JD's this is the fix.

I put my order in for a box of them.
Trust me, every old JD I have ever worked on with more than 12-1500 miles needed to have these bushings renewed.

The rubber material may have seamed like a good idea but it wore fast and the steering went south for that reason.
Think about it... I am not aware of any other sled manufactor that used rubber for spindle bushings.
