I started on a first year 400 at age 7 or 8?
As much as I love my Sprintfires (what my kids started with at age eight), I agree that "The yamaha enticer is a GREAT first sled."
Cheaper than the newer style 120, although those 120s are nice.

Ditto on the Enticers. And the Bravo 250.

My two boys started out with a Kitty Cat, then they went to a Polaris 120. Next they went to a Spitfire and then a Sprintfire. When each one was 12 and got their permit Dan got a 94 Polaris Super Sport 440 fan for a year and then a 96 XCR 440. Kyle went right to a 95 XCR 440 SP. I have to say the XCR 440's were a little bit too much for 12-13 year old age groups. I wish I still had the Spitfire but I sold that to my sister for my nephews to learn how to ride. She still has it and won't sell it back even though they don't use it anymore.
