Saint Germain Update Thread
Harleysportster, Nick80lf & I rolled in to St. Germain last night. This morning, after we finally got the sleds started in -12 deg. temps, we met up with Buckeyetrailfire as well, and went for a ride. I'm not sure what the final mileage ended up being, but I think it was probably around 50 miles. Trails are mostly smooth but we did find a couple rough ones. Many trails are snirty, but still smooth and a nice ride. They really need a good snowfall up here or the trails will be shot soon.

Nice looking group of sleds. Hope all the JD sled members have a great time this year at RWTC & HOF. I look forward to reading your threads from the weekend events.

Re: Saint Germain Update Thread
No pictures from the west side of town but snow conditions are the same. We got a small ride in yesterday and today we'll be in the Poker Run. Originally the forecasters were looking for 3" - 5"of new snow but that seems to have fallen from the forecast. Could be tough sledding here after this weekend. I'll try to get some pictures today and tomorrow.

Re: Saint Germain Update Thread
Nick, I know it's not a Deere but you have a picture of a blue/white 04 XC 700 at the 19th hole. That's my sled. To the left of me is Jesse's Sno Pro Arctic Cat and Doug's Crossfire Arctic Cat. Just to the right of my sled is either Dustin or Matt with a CC Liquifire with the hood up. As I'm writing this it's time to head out the door to take Kyle to the bus for conference wrestling and pick up some of his team mates up along the way. Even though we didn't put a ton of miles on yesterday I personally had a wonderful time being able to see a bunch of great friends. The only regret I have is that I couldn't spent the entire weekend up their due to commitments.

Yes, it was the one that was on craiglist a little while ago, with a new owner (I'm sorry I can't remember his name but I think he's on the site)AirborneX4Special wrote:Looks like a strut Liquifire lurking there in the picture from the 19th Hole.

Re: Saint Germain Update Thread
Katy, myself, and Cari Rainville just arrived back home from the RWTC weekend. Great time, many stories to tell.
I rode well over 200 mi. this weekend. A small group of us rode north to Bent's Camp for lunch on Friday, and yes, the X8 did complete the Vintage Challenge for the seventh time.
The trails were as advertised, snirty around town, not too bad further out ( on Friday ). Saturday was a different story, as the traffic was high, and the trails were mostly beat to a pulp, especially on the return trip.
Had a great time with friends, and made some new. I'll be describing this all in detail in the days to come.
