Hi Duane. I have one of those air ducts on a 83 sporty I've been parting out. Without going out and looking at them, what's the difference between the sportfire and trailfire ducts?

Completely different. Easy ID is the trailfire goes on with a giant hose clamp, and the Sportfire bolts on.

That's right. ..I knew that too, it's been awhile though. I'll look at my parts sled tomorrow and see what shape it's in

Thanks Scott, that would be awesome. The one on my 84 Sportfire is in poor condition. It's just hanging on by a thread.

I did take a look at the duct today and it appears to be in great shape. The wife has kept me pretty busy and the sled is on a storage rack so I'll need to move a few things and forklift it down before I can get the hood up enough to get the duct off. Idk what one of these would be worth so... how does $30 plus shipping sound?
