Hey guys, I picked up a 73 jdx 8, and was wondering if anyone has put any aftermarket 2 stage reeds in one. Im looking to try to get a little more out of my motor when i redo it this yr. Any help would be great thanks

There are no direct fit aftermarket reeds that I know of for jd sleds. I would say just try to make it run good as stock.

I've never tried this to confirm it, but I was told that reeds from
an early 1980's Suzuki RM 125 work.

Some where I thought I heard reeds for a RM80 Suzuki. I have a "parts" 440 liquifire engine apart and have thought of buying a set and comparing them if they are cheap.

thanks guys...I just picked up a second sled with the motor in pieces, so maybe I'll try to make something work...I'll keep you guys posted if I come up with something
