Early John Deere Ski Spindle Bushings

Post by ddub »

We are working on producing Ski Spindle Bushings for the early X00 and JDX sleds.

Upper bushing, M66260. Lower bushing M63112.

These will be made from a improved material, Delrin. Versus the original Rubber material.

The first uppers are on their way from the machinist! We will be installing them on my two sleds for fit testing SOON.

Lowers will be moving into R & D phase this week! If all goes well, material is already in place to start manufacturing.

A taste test for you guys!

I'm with Brock on this one. The M66245 bushing would be a good one to repop.

Well the Prototypes uppers passed with flying colors. We are making one MINOR change with production units.

I will be placing a small order and gauging interest. If you want some out of the first run, contact me and I will up my initial order.

I believe pricing is going to be about $25.00 each. We might be able to do a bit better depending on if we can cut time down to machine them as we go.

Well, a small delay in research of the lowers.

I didn't realize that the lowers would be a different outside diameter material.

So, the lowers have been delayed while evaluating what size would be best. I have two sizes en-route to the machinist now for him to evaluate.

But the uppers are actually in the process of being produced as we speak.

Hey Guys, I test fitted the repoped lower bushings in Dennis's 300 and 600 today.

All I can say is SWEET!!

They look great, fit great and are the cat's meow for all the midmounts.

I bet these will last for thousands of miles too.
