WTB .040 oversize pistons for a '78 340 Cyclone. Need pistons for a vintage oval race project. Would appreciate any leads.

Piston availability in over bore sizes for the 340 are usually .010" and .020" over. I don't know that I have ever seen .040" over pistons for a 340 even in aftermarket.
Are your cylinders worn that bad or are you looking to overbore to a max allowable CC for a race class?

We purchased several sets of .040 over aftermarket pistons for our 340 Cyclone last year. Thought we had enough for our needs, but, a bad batch of race fuel wiped out a set so we are looking for another set as a backup. The .040 over pistons bring us closer to the class cc limit.
