Paul, your're right, it's not necessary for an '80+ Liquifire because of the engine mount design.

Don the Sporty I just aligned was 11.50" so you are correct good sir

The only thing you should have to worry about on 80+ Liquifires is offset, their mounting design already covers center distance and there is no way to adjust horizontal or vertical skew.

I just got mine 10 minutes ago. A fine sturdy tool. I just have to learn how to use it effectively.
If anyone wondered, Canada Revenue Agency charged $20 tax and $10 handling.
