Cat Kawasaki cdi swap?

Has anyone ever put a JD/ Kawasaki CDI set up on an arctic cat /Kawasaki points engine? Just wondering if this would work? It seems like everything would match up? Any help/ideas would be great. Thanks.

I did this swap and it works great!! You need the jd stator,cdi,coil,flywheel and fan tower. I used the parts from a 80 tf 340. You also have to use the cat starter pully if you use the cat recoil. Very easy to do this swap and it plugs right into the existing cat harness.The only real reason I did the swap is to see if it would swap out and work.
