Hello, we will be taking this sled to the 2016 Waconia Ride In the weekend of January 29-31 in Minnesota. Nice riding and looking 84 John Deere Trailfire. Nice original seat with no tears. Hood was repainted with quality automative paint, new decals and windshield as of 2011. Tunnel is good with original decals. Engine was resealed and new piston rings and gaskets. Tach added. Carb and drive clutch rebuilt to sea level specs. Dimmer and kill switch replaced. Electric start. Speedo and tach work. Track is in overall good condition. Skis and belly pan are Great. The throttle cable case where it splits to oil pump is taped up. Beautiful Sled that can be seen in the JDsleds calander Oct. 2016. $1500.00. A couple more pictures. The glove box door latch is missing. I have one on a broken lid. How do they come off without breaking them? I wiil replace the latch if I can pull the other one.

I know I'm a little late with this but I just took one off tonight. Held the latch tab with a small adjustable wrench. Then turned the plastic latch very carefully with a larger adjustable. Maybe I was lucky. Once I had it apart you could definitely see it was assembled with loctite.JDfanAZ wrote: How do they come off without breaking them?
