Howdy All,
I have a 1980 Trailfire 440 and need to replace the track sliders. Where do you guys get them? Any tricks for removing and installing?
Thanks in advance!

Newbreedparts or buscobullet, pull your suspension out, take your caps off the end, tap off the old ones, put a bead of light grease on the slide rail and tap the new ones on and reinstall everything

Newbreed does not have any right now. Try MFGSupply or Dennis Kirk. My supplier discontinued carrying them this year.

Re: Source for Trailfire 440 Track Slides
Thanks all,
I ended up getting my slides off of Ebay from a seller in Wisconsin. Seller name sledpartsguy . I have bought some other items from him as he has super fast shipping and reasonable prices. Usually get my stuff in 3 days! The slides I got from him are even white and not the black ones everyone else has for sale. I paid $26.99 for the pair. I highly recommend sledpartsguy. Just and FYI for everyone.
I did pull the suspension out to pound out the old slides. After I had the slides off, I could see that there was a lot of metal missing on my slide rail channels where the track had worn through the slides. Unfortunately the previous owner had let the slides wear down too far. In fact the right slide rail channel was just about worn through and was razor thin in spots. I picked up a nice used set of slide rails that have never been abused like mine were. The channels on these have all the metal on them with no wear and have very nice black slides too! So I installed them as is and will keep my white slides for the future. So I put everything back together and I am good to go now just need snow!
Thanks
Hec

Have also purchased from "sledpartsguy" on ebay, zero issues. I'm almost positive mfg-supply stocks them also (black).
