Anyone know where I can locate new or nos parts for my 76 cyclone build?

low black winshield

all 3 ider wheels either originals riveted disc with rubber ring or is ther a good all rubber?plastic more modern wone that will work?

Not sure on the windshield.

Many parts websites for snowmobiles have the idlers. Check on ebay for John Deere Cyclone (440 or 340), and you will get pages of parts. Think I saw those idlers in there, plus the replacement windshields that are standard to the Cyclone or first gen Liquifires.

I ordered hyfax from Parts Unlimited. Mine original white ones were in great shape so I didn't use them. I compared the new to the old, they looked correct but they are black.

Good luck on the shocks. I didn't need fronts but the rear is the same as Rupp chrome ski shocks. I got a good used one and painted it black with the rest of the suspension. Rupp P/N 32095, there is an NOS one on eBay right now.

Windshield...I'm gonna hold out for Mr Rainville to release his repo windshields. I want a short one.

If you can't find any new idler wheels, do a search here, I found someone that rebuilt them. Of course you'll have to rivet them back together but you'll keep the factory look.

Dennis Kirk used to sell the plastic replacement idler wheels. Newbreeds should have them as well.

i decided to try and rebuild the original idlers. will be riveting them back together tonight with solids rivets hope they turn out good.

do the rupp shock fit right in or does it have to get different bushings?

Rupp chrome ski shocks slip right in.

Here are my rebuilt idler wheels. New bearing and new rivets. Turned out well
