I would have to go look, we still have the numbers. He did not finish the last leg of the Race in 75. His name is Duane Lund his brother was Ken Lund they raced together...
Any ideas on the Expansion Chamber???

A quick look at winnepegtostpaul.com shows Kenneth out of South Dakota was number 206 on a Deere in 1974 and 1975 He was registered for 1976 as number 215 but shows no times. Duane out of Clarissa MN number 231 on a Deere in 1975 and in 1976 as number 231 he finished on a Cat...

If you haven't yet, check out that website it is full of interesting information.

Only 37 finished the second day.
The other day I saw parts for many snowmobiles for sale and one of them had 340 S parts for sale but I cannot find where it is now !!!!

Yes he did finish on a cat. we have all the times and numbers in a book Dad and Ken were a team.
Our old 340s is beat up but we have most of it. I need help so badly I can not find an expansion chamber anywhere and we have been all over looking!!!
It is an original racer and well worthy of the rebuild.

I see how this can get confusing. You have 2 posts going with the same title, one here in General Talk and one in the Classifieds. I have tried to email you and have not got a reply.

I think I have a extra 340/s Pipe. I need some Liquidator parts. I might be willing to trade the 340/s pipe for the Liquidator parts I need. There is also a possibility that I would sell the pipe outright, but it would be at a cost that would enable me to have the parts I need reproduced (expensive)

I can be reached at billtasky@hotmail.com
