69170 Belts

Post by That Girl Racing »

Hi guys. The "infamous" 170 belt, as promised is now available through Ultimax Belts. The part # is Max1135. It is not yet in the catalogue but is available. I know it took a long time but it is here. Peter

Peter,

That is great news! I know these things take time and effort, and thank you for getting this done for all of us.

Big bad John. Ultimax is working on a Canadian distributer. They were sold by Carlisle to Timken and a lot of deals went out the window.. They are close to using Kimpex once again as the Canadian distributer

The M69170 Belts fit the 82-84 Liquifire originally, or any of the 80-81 Liquifire's that were updated to the TR-800 "Wide Belt Kit" They also fit sleds retrofitted with Comet 108's set up for a 1 3/8" wide belt.

The correct belt was out of production since the late 80's, so aside from a short run Peter had done a few years back, we had to use "close enough" belts. It's nice to have the correct length back into production again.

Ultimax MAX1135M3 is the number that Tony from ultimax gave me today. Working on finding a dealer near me.

Nevermind, I would prefer that NewBreed stocks them.
