The Liquidator used a unique track and cleats. Track#AM54017 and Cleat#M66412. I am getting a price to reproduce the cleats and I think the entire track takes 37 of them. I should have a price soon and announce it here if anyone in interested in purchasing some.

Re: Liquidator Track Cleat Reproduction
Hi Don,
My stash of NOS Dator cleats is not very large, so I would be in for a few. As a general question, are the 2/3rd and the 78-84 15" cleats still available aftermarket?
Thanks,
-Joe

They've discontinued all Deere cleats that I know of.

Re: Liquidator Track Cleat Reproduction
would love to see some replacement cleats. have a ton of nice tracks with broken or worn cleats. I actually thought about having a die made to press and stamp my own cleats but never got around to it.

If your first choice can't do it, let me know. We make quite a bit of short run stuff using a waterjet and press / brake.

Re: Liquidator Track Cleat Reproduction
Hi Guys,
Since all Deere cleats are similar, it may not be too difficult to get the variations done as well. For example, all the Deere cleated tracks have the same rivet spacing and side rail centers, but vary on length and holes on the outer belt.
Take the 15" cleats. Deere has at least 3 variations: 1) Liquidator with 3 rivets in the outer belts, no notches or engineered in crack points. 2) 74-77 "bonded" cleats, have an offset notch for a crack to form, and I think 3 rivets in the outer belts. 3) 78-84 Trailfire and direct drive cleated tracks, notched in the center with 2 rivets in the outer belts, slightly shorter than the Dator or 74-77 cleat. None of the aftermarket cleats I ever found were notched, only the factory cleats were.
The 77-78 10" "2/3's cleat has the same rivet pattern on the center belt with 3 rivets on the outer belt.
So a Dator cleat would be very similar to the slightly shorter 78-84 15" cleat and very similar to the 10" cleat. Not sure if it would reduce cost to do more than one style, but it might...

Re: Liquidator Track Cleat Reproduction
I have completed the task of making cleats for the Dator I'm restoring. I must say it is not a fun job and it's loaded with steps the way that I had to do it. That said I'm happy with the result. I will be taking orders for Dator cleats for a couple of weeks before I begin making more if needed. They are not inexpensive and will sell for $10.00 each. The price quoted does not included heat treating if so desired nor powdercoating. The attached picture makes the cleats look bent or something. The real things are much better than the picture.
