Nope. But only because the top tank of a Kioritz Liquifire motor sticks out past the top of the motor cover. Otherwise pretty doable it seems and a Kawi might fit better.

To clarify my response Mr Amber, "No" meant, "No, I have never tried it" but of course others have done it...the quoted thread is probably how I know the top tank of a Liquifire motor sticks out above the motor cover on a mid-mount.

Also very cool that Deere did it besides the LC 340/s prototype racers. Great picture Mr. Wanie.

I still think it would be fun to make a LC JDX...there darn mid-mounts are growing on me. That's what I get for hanging out with Lindner...

A few years ago I was at a sled show just north of Green Bay. And a guy had a sled there with decals that said WETX. He put a liquid cooled 440 in a JDX8 and some how he got all the covers to fit just like John Deere intended.
