I have a hirth 220 r6 with did box ignition I can't find any info on. I'm sure it's an old snowmobile engine. It runs great. Any info would be great

I have one of these engines too. They are very very rare. I know of one other member on this forum that has one also.
I contacted Hirth many years ago to find out more info from them but got very little back.
Consider yourself lucky that your runs well. Mine was dead on one side and it took me a long time to locate a second box to make it work. It was very expensive for the size of a 9volt battery.
Mine is in a 71 Mark III. What is yours in?
