I would like a set also if they are available. There is a post from quite a while back that mentioned using et300 Yamaha pistons in the 295, they are available aftermarket. Base gaskets shouldn't be a problem with some material and a razor blade. I would be interested in just a sy of rings if anybody has some, that way the heads wouldn't need to be removed. If anyone else has more input it would be appreciated. Thanks Chris

I had to send my old head gaskets to cometic. Be prepared because the cost will sting a bit.

Matt can get you gaskets for a 340/5 like in a Jdxspec 4 special , they aren't exact and the head gasket bore diameter will be a little big on the gasket ,otherwise would be correct. Custom gaskets from cosmetic are terrific but costly

Has anyone ever put one together with the 340/5 gaskets? How much would custom made gaskets be? Would it be worth looking into having more sets made?

I haven't but would do it without hesitation , the 295 has a 56 mm bore and the 340 is 60 that's 4mm difference I realize but should be a non issue. Wade
