Ok so far this is what I have done.
cleaned and raised out fuel tank.
replaced all fuel lines and filter
redid all the gaskets on the walbro carb
replaced all gaskets on the engine block. including the clutch and stator side.
new plugs

problem is not getting gas from tank into carb. if I spray gas into the carb directly the sled runs.

I'm not sure where I need to look next for a problem

Is the breather vent functioning on the tank? It does come as an entire fitting for the tank, so that should be checked over to make sure it seems in satisfactory shape.

You have some sort of a problem either with the carburetor itself, or the engine isn't creating any crank pressure. I didn't read if you did get a compression check done? Also, a leak down test would tell you if your engine is holding pressure at all the seals including between the case halves. Tough to tell exactly what it is without further investigation. Let us know what else you've checked.
