Broke my Mikuni
I'm going a bit crazy cleaning and adjusting everything on the 1981 Liquifire that I just bought. The cleanup on the carburetors was going well until I broke off this silly needle jet setter! I've now learned that these really don't have to be removed to clean. I'll leave them in place next time! There are no new parts available for these in Montana. I did find an old carb (to steal one out of) from a guy who collects vintage sleds here. Lesson learned! Gary

Re: Broke my Mikuni
Mikuni still produces the jet setters. Try searching for part# VM28/53. With these carbs the only thing not produced today is the body/bowl and the 6DH22 needle. I find the Sudco catalog a very hand reference for identifying Mikuni part numbers.

What does a green "moved" arrow mean? Where are we allowed to ask questions about our machines?

The topic was moved to the correct technical talk section which is where you can ask questions.
