83 liquifire idle
Just picked up a 83 liquifire.went through the carbs cleaned them in ultrasonic cleaner new fuelline and cleaned tank.got it running and according to manual it should idle around 2000 rpm.this seem high to me but I'm no expert. I currently have it idling around 1k and that seems high .it has a bad bog off the line before clearing up.is because the idles to low?.also when I choke it when running the thing revs up like crazy which seems weird as most sleds I've had the choke would ussaly bring the idle down.when you shut the sled off too after sitting a little while it takes like 6 or more pulls to start along with holding throttle half open.by the way how scared or rare are these 83 liquifires?

Re: 83 liquifire idle
you have an air leak somewhere if it likes fuel. Did you replace the crank seals? I have my liquifires idle around 2500, they are the 1980s with the older style ignition so they like the higher idle more. Or something funky is going on with your carbs and fuel isn't getting through. what throttle stages are boggy?
