BRAKE BAND JD 300

Looking for a brake band for my 1976 John Deere 300. I have not found much information out there and hoping someone might have some advice. I was wondering if the band possibly crosses over into the tractor line? Maybe there is one I can get there if the parts are current.

You can buy a brand new one from John Deere. They still carry it for their older model Gators. I'd have to look up the part number, but I think it stayed the same, so if you look in the sled parts manual, go to JD Parts and plug that number in, it should come up. Bought one 2 years ago.

Jason: You were partially right when you said you were wondering if the brake band carried over to the tractor line. We used this same brake band on some of our early J.D. garden tractors @ Horicon.
