Hello All,
Have a 1980 440 l/c Liquifire, I am getting great spark, fuel in the bowls of both carbs (cleaned before I started all this), and the fuel pump pumping fuel. I drained any old gas put and put in fresh gas. Gave it a shot of starting fluid and fired immediately but only runs off the starting fluid.Took the plugs out and they are wet. Any Suggestions? Thanks

Don't use ether. Ever.
Carbs need to be squeaky clean, as in you can lick them without prejudice.
Old gas means a tank that has been subjected to a solvent for a long period of time and Deere tanks are notorious for rampant degradation under those circumstances. If it was ethanol gas....yikes.
When were the crank seals last freshened?
